Camera Access (Video Only)

DashCam MVP requires camera access to record video while you use the App. The App:

Photo Library Access

DashCam MVP saves recorded videos directly to your device’s Photo Library. The App:

• Writes new recordings to your Photo Library when you choose to save them.
• Reads from your Photo Library only when you explicitly select a video or photo.
• Does not scan or access other media unless you choose it.

Location Access (Optional)

DashCam MVP may optionally tag recordings with approximate location metadata. If enabled:

• Location is used only while the App is in use.
• Location metadata is stored locally with the recording.
• No location data is transmitted to us or shared.

No Server-Side Data Collection

DashCam MVP operates entirely on-device. We do not run backend services that receive or store your recordings or personal data.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or any form of behavioral tracking.

Data Retention & User Control

All recordings remain on your device under your control. You may delete them at any time from your Photo Library. We do not retain copies of your recordings.

Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is no server-side data for us to access, modify, or delete. You retain full control over recordings stored on your device.

Children’s Privacy

DashCam MVP is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Recordings are stored locally on your device. Your device’s built-in security (passcode, biometrics, encryption) protects your data.
